		<description>Turning down the volume on your guitar will also the sound of distortion however.  If you truly want to reduce feedback without loss of coloration of sound then you must use the correct pickups and shielding.  Get yourself a set of humbuckers and shield your guitar with copper shielding.  Also having your guitar properly grounded helps!</description>
